Shore Path with Long Fence
This is an attractive spot on the path with a long log fence. The views along this side of the Shore Path include several different islands as well as the Schoodic Peninsula portion of Acadia National Park. You can see part of one of the out islands, most likely Bald Porcupine at the upper left. This island has a breakwater that protects Bar Harbor from the open ocean waves.
