Gorgeous and Easliy Accessed
Eagle Lake is such a gorgeous and easily accessible Acadia National Park location. Located on the western side of Bar Harbor, it is surprising that more people do not spend time here. There are two parking areas, one on either side of the highway and each is right next to a Carriage Road that goes completely around the lake. There are many excellent spots for photography throughout the day. This first set of 9 images should give a good representation of what one might expect to find here. And this, is all on the North side. There is much more that awaits those who venture out on the lake, or who walk or jog around it via the Carraige Road.
