The Bangor State Fair takes place each year during the last week of July through the first Sunday of August (July 25 - August 3 for 2008). People from all over visit the event for a wholesome mixture of food, games, entertainment, and agricultural based activities. Acadia National Park is about 1.25 hours from the fair.
