Picnic Table on Thompson Island in Acadia
Imagine for a moment that you were the tree next to this picnic table. How many generations of families have you witnessed gathering at this location over the last fifty or more years? How much laughter and stories were told? How many steamed clams and boiled lobster were eaten here? If trees could talk, there would be many stories to tell! This rustic bench was in this picnic area for many years and, hopefully, will continue to be here for many more. for many years. It is here for all of us to enjoy with our families and friends.
