Try Right Angles

This is a very nice spot for capturing sunrise photos. Early in the morning, it is usually quite slippery on the rocks so be very careful when walking on them. The wetness adds a lot to the scene by increasing the ambient reflections from the sun and the different colors in the sky and clouds. Shooting a right angles to the rising sun adds more contrast to the scene, but also works especially well when using a polarizing filter. Try shooting from a low vantage point with a high aperture number to increase depth of field and accentuate the feeling of depth.
