Sieur de Monts Spring House, Acadia National Park
In front of the Spring House is the large rock where George B. Dorr carved “The Sweet Waters of Acadia” in 1909. Dorr was instrumental in the early formation of the Park and still provides inspiration even today in the amount of dedication that he showed. The walking path to the far left goes to the original Abbe Museum.
