Acadia National Park
One of the nice things about Acadia National Park on the southern coast of Maine is that there are many great places to photograph sunrises from. The main part of the park is located on Mount Desert Island. The other main section is located on the mainland at Schoodic Peninsula. That location, since it is a peninsula running north/south, is a big winner. Most all Maine coastal locations have the classic "rocky" coastline as seen in the above image that was taken on the island. Most scenics are close to the road, especially at Schoodic. Image specs: Taken June 12 with Canon EOS R5 Full Frame Mirrorless camera with a Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 lens at 15mm, f/18, 1/60 second exposure and ISO 160. I bracketed to give me extended range. For the shadows an image was shot at 1/20 second. For the highlights the third was 1/200 second.
