Eagle Lake in Bar Harbor, Maine
This is a southerly view of Eagle Lake in Acadia National Park as seen from the northern Bar Harbor side of the lake near Route 233. That is one of the Bubbles dead center on the horizon that are so prominent when looking north from Jordan Pond, also on Mount Desert Island. This is a popular area for visitors as there is a Carriage Road accessed here from both sides of the highway which goes around the lake. Local time of this image was 7:44 AM on August 18. Image specs: Canon 5D Mark II, Canon 24-105mm f/4.0 L Series Lens at 24mm & f/20, ISO 160. Three photos were taken and used: 1/25, 1/8 and 0.4 Seconds to be able to better capture the dynamic range.
