The View North from Thompson Island in Acadia
This is a northerly view looking toward the mainland from the eastern shore of Thompson Island Picnic Area about 30 minutes after sunrise. It was at low tide. At high tide, this spot would be covered in water. My family would stop at a seafood place on the mainland in Trenton to buy some long-awaited cooked lobster, then drive across the bridge to chow-down here at the picnic area.
