This view of The Beehive with calm water reflections should be part of your next Maine vacation. What this must have been like a few hundred years ago can only be imagined. In the meantime, the National Park Service does its best to keep this pristine for all of us so be sure to "leave no trace". This is on the eastern side of Mount Desert Island just south of the Park Loop Road Entrance Station.
