Bar Harbor, Maine - Mount Desert Island
One of the best views of Bar Harbor and the mountains of Acadia National Park is seen from the Schoodic area on the mainland. Champlain Mountain is to the left while Cadillac Mountain is to the right. This image was captured in Sorrento which is northeast of Mount Desert Island. To get there, follow Coastal U.S. Route One Downeast (east) from the main commercial city of Ellsworth.
