Eagle Lake Gallery 2 shows several images captured during the autumn season displaying some striking colors that New England is known for. Also included is a recent twilight image of Eagle Lake taken from Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor, Maine.
Lakeside to Cadillac Mountain
This second set of 9 photos begins with a shoreside autumn capture with lots of golden grass. I love the contrast with the blue water and sky in the distance. Next, is a twilight view of Eagle Lake from the western side of Cadillac Mountain. Would you believe that, during the late 1,800’s, there was a train that traveled from Eagle Lake to the summit of Cadillac Mountain? There is a short walking path that goes through a stand of trees next to the South parking area. This leads to some very nice vantage points for capturing images. Look for it on the right side of the parking area next to the Carriage Road.
