Warm Late Afternoon Colors in Ellsworth, Maine
This is Main Street in Ellsworth, Maine captured on July 2 at about 5:00 PM. Most of the buildings are made of brick and add to the feeling of warmth, especially in the early morning or late afternoon and early evening hours. If you continued on the road in the distance, it would split shortly after the bridge that crosses over Union River. To the left is Route 172 which goes to Surry and Blue Hill. To the right, Route 3 and Coastal Route One would go to Bucksport and eventually Belfast and Camden.
