Ocean Path Photos - Acadia

The Ocean Path Gallery features nine photos showcasing the Ocean Path Trail in Acadia National Park, located on the eastern side of Mount Desert Island, Maine. This picturesque trail extends from Sand Beach in the north, passes by Thunder Hole, and concludes at Otter Cliff in the south. It is renowned as one of the most scenic locations on the eastern coast of the United States.

Exceptional Coastal Views

You literally can spend a whole day exploring and enjoying this one 2 mile stretch of Acadia National Park on the eastern coast of Mount Desert Island. Se aside at least 2 hours for a most enjoyable walk from Sand Beach south past Thunder Hole and arriving at Otter Cliff. To be safe, you may want to plan on 3 hours. Take your time and step off the path to go onto some viewing points on the shoreside granite. be sure to bring a camera because you will want to share the images with family and friends.
