Hartford, photographer, author, publisherYou literally can spend a whole day exploring and enjoying this one 2 mile stretch of Acadia National Park on the eastern coast of Mount Desert Island. Se aside at least 2 hours for a most enjoyable walk from Sand Beach south past Thunder Hole and arriving at Otter Cliff. To be safe, you may want to plan on 3 hours. Take your time and step off the path to go onto some viewing points on the shoreside granite. be sure to bring a camera because you will want to share the images with family and friends.
