Otter Cliff & Huge Ocean Wave - Acadia
This is one of the many August 23, 2009 waves caused by the remnants of Hurricane Bill even though it was over 100 miles out to sea. The size of this wave at Otter Cliff in Acadia National Park may be difficult to imagine until you see the relative size of the people at the upper right corner who seem to be watching something elsewhere without cognizance of what is right beside them!
Image Specs: Canon EOS 5D Mark II with the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L Series Lens at 70mm, 1/125sec, f/13, ISO 160.
