Pastel Painting of Clyde
This shows a pastel painting that I did of Clyde. I met him through a mutual friend when we were learning about how to tap maple trees to make maple syrup. Clyde was in his eighties and still plowed his fields with oxen. His fingers were bent from breaks and resets happening many years earlier. He had a difficult life but there was still a spark and playfulness in his eyes that I did my best to capture.
