Carriage Road Bridge At Hadlock Falls

To reach the Carriage Road Bridge at Hadlock Falls in Acadia, the most convenient option is to park at the Parkman Mountain Parking Area, located off Routes 3 and 198. This area is situated on the northwestern side of Upper Hadlock Pond in Northeast Harbor, a village on Mount Desert Island, Maine. From the parking lot, follow the Carriage Road eastward for approximately one mile. It is advisable to bring a map, compass, water, and your cell phone. However, please note that cell phone service on Mount Desert Island is generally unreliable due to the mountainous terrain and limited cell towers.
