Glowing Carriage Road Bridge at Bubble Pond
The underside of the Stone Carriage Road Bridge at Bubble Pond in Acadia National Park is bathed in a golden glow, a result of light reflecting off the fallen autumn leaves on the ground. You can reach Bubble Pond and this bridge via the Park Loop Road, situated between the Jordan Pond House and the entrance to the Cadillac Mountain Summit Road. A small parking area is located between the Park Loop Road and the pond; however, the National Park Service restricts access for most of the year to the Free Island Explorer Shuttle Bus, hikers, bikers, horses, and those on carriage rides.
The time of year was October 7 at 10:34 AM. Camera Specs: Canon EOS 5D with the Canon 24-105mm f/4 L Series Lens using settings of 24mm, f/22, 4 second exposure and ISO 100.
