Recreation on Carriage Roads in Acadia

There is no better place for recreation such as walking, jogging, or biking than on Acadia National Park's Carriage Roads such as here at Eagle Lake in Bar Harbor, Maine. The road goes completely around the lake. This image was captured during the autumn season late in the afternoon when the sun was getting low on the western horizon. The air here is clean and invigorating.
