Carriage Road near Parkman Mountain Parking Area
This is a section of the Carriage Road that is a short distance east of the Parkman Mountain Parking Area on the north side of Upper Hadlock Pond in Northeast Harbor, Maine. The approximate direction is East while on the way to see the Carriage Road Bridge at Hadlock Falls. Unfortunately, during this year, it was quite dry. What a great opportunity it is for visitors to be able to do this on such a beautiful morning. How often does one get to walk peacefully through the heart of a forest, not disturbing any wildlife, and breathing the fresh air? Lets hope that our country continues to support National Parks for all of us to enjoy. Time of year: August 10 at 7:58 AM.
