Thunder Hole at Twilight - Acadia

This scene is located immediately to the left of the stairs descending to the Thunder Hole observation area, adjacent to the Park Loop Road in Acadia. Captured in the twilight moments just before sunrise, this view benefits from the longer camera exposures required at this time, often necessitating the use of a tripod. However, the resulting colors can be exceptionally beautiful during what is known as the "golden hour."
