Little Hunters Beach Shoreline in Acadia
Little Hunters Beach is a small protected stone covered beach in Acadia National Park on the southeastern side of Mount Desert Island, Maine. There are smooth multi-colored stones whose subtle shades are more apparent when wet as shown here. Please be aware that it is against the law to remove any of these. Let them remain for the enjoyment of others. This image was taken in the early morning just as the sun was ascending over the small headland on the left. Because of the wide range between light and shadow, five images at different shutter speeds were taken. Image specs: Date of June 17 at 5:07 AM using Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Full Frame Camera with the Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 lens at 15mm, f/22, and ISO 160. Exposures were 1/20, 1/8, 0.3, 0.8, 2 seconds.
