Golden Cadillac Mountain Sunrise

This was the kind of Cadillac Mountain sunrise that we all hope for but often miss. It was pure gold, beautiful and refreshing. This view is looking across the ocean as the sun rose over Schoodic Peninsula on the mainland. The Porcupine Islands can be seen on the left.

This photograph was taken in mid-July using a Canon EOS R5 camera and the Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 Lens, with settings of 26mm, f/11, a 1/100 second exposure, and ISO 200.
