Cranberry Isles Photos
This shows the Cranberry Isles or Islands as seen from Cadillac Mountain on Mount Desert Island in Acadia National Park, Maine.
Maine Islands with Charm
When you arrive in the parking lot at the summit of Cadillac Mountain, go to the right and follow the summit path a short distance. On the right side to the South you will see a group of several islands as shown in the above photographs. These are called the Cranberry Isles. Some people refer to them as the Cranberry Islands. They include Baker Island, Little Cranberry Island (with Islesford), Great Cranberry Island, Bear Island (with the lighthouse) and Sutton Island. Bear Island is out of view in these images but here is a view of Bear Island Lighthouse. On the main Cranberry Isles page there is information on boat services to the islands.
