Main Street Looking Southwest - Ellsworth, Maine
This is looking “down” Main Street in Ellsworth, Maine, to the southwest in the year 2008. The business to the right called “Maidee's” is no longer there. The overall view is still pretty much the same. This photo was taken on July 31 in late afternoon. The bridge at the bottom of the hill crosses over the Union River where sailing ships once followed here from the sea.
