Carriage Road & Bridge At Eagle Lake

This Carriage Road and its stone-faced bridge are located next to Eagle Lake on Mount Desert Island in Acadia National Park, Maine. This photograph was taken facing southward on July 14th at 9:33 a.m. The lake is situated to the left of the trees. Above the arched bridge is Route 233, which runs east to west, connecting Bar Harbor with the central part of the island to the west. The Carriage Road encircles the entire lake.
