Carriage Road & Bridge in Autumn Season

The colors of the autumn leaves against the light blue sky in the distance create a beautiful glow early in the morning, especially when framed by the arch of the stone-faced Carriage Road Bridge at Eagle Lake in Bar Harbor, Maine. This view faces south from the northwestern side of the lake. The road encircles the entire lake and is open only to hikers, cyclists, horse riders, and horse-drawn carriages, prohibiting motorized vehicles.
