It would be another 15 minutes before the sun would begin its rise above the horizon and a few minutes after this that it would appear above the trees to the right in Bar Harbor on Mount Desert Island. This is at low tide from the shoreline of Thompson Island next to the picnic area between the mainland and Mount Desert Island.
