Little Hunters Beach on October 18
It took over an hour for the sun to start breaking through the cloud bank offshore. I decided to check Little Hunters Beach out but wanted a different view than previous ones. I remembered some that I did many years ago so went to the same spot on the south side that overlooks the beach with a view of the ocean. It was a challenge to set up my tripod because of the thick brush and branches combined with some steep slopes. Once I secured this and attached the cable release, I also chose to use a 10 stop neutral density filter to greatly reduce the amount of light, thereby allowing for a much longer exposure time. The result is what you see in this image. Image specs: Date of October 18 at 7:46 AM using Canon 5D Mark IV. One exposure at 30 seconds using Canon 24-105mm f/4 L zoom at 24mm, f/18, ISO 100
