The Beehive Viewed from Sand Beach in Acadia
This view of The Beehive in Acadia National Park was captured at low tide from the eastern side of Sand Beach shortly after the early morning sun lit up the mountain. It takes a little longer for the sun to shine in the foreground because of Great Head Headland on the right. The steps that lead up to the top are close to this spot on the right as well. Image specs: Date of June 11 at 5:55 AM using Canon EOS 5D Mark II Full Frame Camera and Canon 24-105mm f/4 "L" Series lens at 28mm, f/22, ISO 50 with a single exposure of 0.8 seconds.
