Ellsworth, Maine at Night on Main Street
This shows Ellsworth, Maine very early in the morning of October 20 on Main Street. The historic Grand Theater is on the left. The view is towards the southwest on Route One which continues to follow the coast all the way to New Hampshire. At the base of this small hill is where the road crosses over Union River where sailing ships once arrived centuries ago. In order to better represent the tones and contrast between light and shadow, three images were taken at different shutter speeds. Image specs: Date of October 20 at 5:47 AM using Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Full Frame Camera with Canon 24-105mm f/4 "L" Series lens at 45mm, f/22, ISO 200. Exposures were 1.3, 5, 20 seconds.
