Arey Cove at 5:30 AM Sunrise
This northerly view of Arey Cove at sunrise is from the eastern shoreline of Schoodic Point in Acadia National Park, Maine. Sunrises during June in Maine happen very early because the State is so far east of the rest of the New England States in the same Time Zone. During mid-June a Maine sunrise is as early as 4:46 AM on the coast. At this particular location, it takes a little longer for the sun to rise above Little Moose Island on the right eastern side of the cove. Image capture was on June 18 at about 5:29 AM. Image Specs: Canon 20D, Canon 17-85mm f/4-5.6 Lens at 28mm, 0.3 second, f/20, ISO 100.
