Coastal Resort with Exceptional Views
There is a good reason why so many people head to Maine for their summer vacations. Given all the pressures that most of us deal with in our daily lives, we really need a place where we can recharge our batteries and places like this do the job well. The pace of life comes to a screeching halt, or nearly so. The landscape and its character just seems to have a power of its own that demands it. We surrender willingly, and hopefully, that the freshness lasts in our memories, and in our very cells. This is the gift that it provides in areas like Sorrento and the whole Schoodic and Mount Desert Island areas.
