West Pond Cove Next To Schoodic Loop Road
The Schoodic Loop Road on the western side of Schoodic Peninsula runs close to West Pond Cove as shown in the photograph above. The road is one-way in this section running north-to-south beginning near the Park's Entrance at Frazer Point. The view here is looking north in the opposite direction of oncoming traffic. From this vantage point, you can see the spectacular mountains of Mount Desert Island to the west. Image capture was on September 16 at about 11:37 AM.
