Sutton Island in Cranberry isles
Sutton Island is in the Cranberry Isles in Hancock County just off the southern coast of the much larger Mount Desert Island, home to the majority of Acadia National Park. In the above picture, Sutton Island is between Mount Desert Island in the foreground, and Great Cranberry Island in the distance. Sutton is one of five islands in the Cranberry Isles. The other four are Baker Island, Little Cranberry Island, Great Cranberry Island, and Bear Island. Sutton is privately owned. There are no roads on the island and there is no regular fairry service.
