Paul Bunyan Statue in Bangor, Maine at Sunrise
The statue of Paul Bunyan in Bangor Maine faces the Penobscot River to the east where ships from all over the world arrived in Bangor during the 1800's for loads of lumber. The warm light of sunrise is bathing him in a golden glow. Now, apparently, the folk hero watches over the activities taking place at the new casino across the street.
