When I am shooting images in Bass Harbor, I will often try and do so at different times of the day. The changes in light, fog, and especially, the tide level can make a huge difference. As any professional photographer knows, timing is everything sometimes. The weather conditions in coastal Maine has a well deserved reputation for changing quickly and in an unpredictable way. Weather reports are often not reliable so check often. Becoming familiar with the roads can make all the difference in taking advantage of the changing conditions.
