Foggy Acadia Sunrise in Bar Harbor
This Acadia sunrise was captured from the shore of Thompson Island in Acadia National Park looking East through the early morning fog toward Bar Harbor, Maine located on Mount Desert Island (MDI). The relatively small Thompson Island is between the mainland and MDI. It has a nice picnic area with tables and a large grass section where families can play games. Many who cross over it on the way to MDI are not even aware that it is an island at all, or that it is actually part of Trenton whose own center is located on the mainland. Image specs: Date of June 30 at 5:10 AM using Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Full Frame Camera with Sigma 15-30mm f/5-6.3 lens at 150mm, f/18, ISO 160. Exposures was 1/250 seconds.
