Experiment with Composition!

All of the images in this set of nine Winter Harbor, Maine photos were captured in the little protected harbor accessed off Main Street after taking the Harbor Road to the dock. This mix shows a variety of different compositions using the colors of the hulls of the dinghies against the ocean water and the various reflections found there. Sitting in the middle of the harbor scene was a smiley face someone drew on one of the big round floating balls which added a touch of humor to the landscape. With digital cameras and other capture devices, it is easier than ever before to experiment with different compositions. Give it a try. It improves on our ability to see good design.
